My daughter got married and I made a printable for a Bridal Shower Game! I already did the work of designing a sweet printable so I wanted to share it with you!

Keeping Things Simple…

It seems like everyone is so busy anymore, so if you are planning a Bridal Shower, just remember to keep things simple by keeping your guests in mind.

To make things easier on my guests, we planned the shower to last about 2 hours, so they can come and drop off a gift or stay if they want.

“Between”

On the invitation, the “time” said: “between 11 am to 1 pm”. This gives everyone the option to come and stay or just drop off a gift.

The last thing I wanted is for people to NOT want to come because they don’t want to play any games, and they don’t want to stay very long or maybe they came by themselves and might feel a bit uncomfortable staying very long.

I wanted to make sure my guests had options so they will be more inclined to come. I had a very positive response. The timing wasn’t good for some, so they were quite happy to be able to come at their convenience and not feel guilted into staying.

Do You Love Bridal Shower Games?

I’m not a huge fan of Bridal or Baby Shower Games, so I decided to keep it pretty simple. My daughter’s maid of honor planned a “He said, She said” game to get to know them both better.

So I decided to fill a big glass jar full of Hershey’s Kisses (#paid links) and then have everyone guess how many “kisses” are in the jar as they came in the door.

Sit and Visit

I have found that at most showers, the guests just want to sit and visit with their friends. They are not as interested in playing games as they are in visiting with each other and learning more about the Bride and Groom.

We gave my daughter a couple of minutes to just tell everyone how they met and a short version of their story. Then the maid of honor finished it off with questions that she had asked the groom.

I made this sweet little sign to print out and just put in an 8X10 frame. It prints on a full sheet of paper, so you will have to just trim it a little. A cheap dollar store frame worked quite nicely!

The guests were so excited to see exactly how many kisses were in the jar and who won the beautiful jar full of chocolate kisses!

Bridal Shower Game Guessing Cards

Bridal Shower Game with guessing cards

I am including the guessing cards for the game. Print them off and the guests just need to fill in their name and the number they guess.

Put the cards next to an empty jar (#paid Links) for them to toss in after they fill out. Make sure to put a cup full of pens or pencils by them. (You could also have a basket full of kisses for them to have one after they guess.) This worked really well and was a hit!

Whether you are planning a Bridal Shower or helping to plan one, this game was easy and everyone loved it! I mean, who wouldn’t want to win a beautiful glass jar full of yummy chocolate kisses?

Enjoy these days! (They don’t last!)
